Healing Is Not Linear

Healing doesn’t follow a straight path or stick to a timeline. Some days you’ll feel light and free, while others may pull you back into old memories or pain you thought you’d left behind. And that’s okay. True healing is messy, unpredictable, and deeply personal. It’s not about  getting over  something it’s about learning how to carry it differently, with more understanding and less weight.

In a world obsessed with quick fixes, it can be easy to feel like you’re falling behind if you’re not constantly improving. But growth often hides in the quiet moments when you choose peace over reacting, rest instead of guilt, or self-compassion over shame. Progress isn’t always visible, and healing rarely makes a grand announcement. It unfolds in layers, in cycles, and in your own time. And the fact that you’re still trying? That in itself is healing.
